Last night we got home about 9:30 p.m. and our dog Lila had 2 dark puppies. We went out at 6:00 a.m. this morning and she had a total of 8 puppies, 4 dark (like our male Dodger) and 4 light colored (like herself). They are so cute!!! She is being such a good mommy. We tried moving the pups and Lila in a plastic kiddie pool so they weren't so cramped in the dog carrier, which she had them in, but she did not like that idea and started to freak out a little bit. So now they are all safely back in the dog carrier. Today we got a little worried about her and took her to the vet; she wasn't eating or drinking anything, but the vet said she was okay. I can't wait to see them open their eyes and see how many males and females we have. All in all we are very proud of Lila and we adore the pups!!
